Zelensky Begs for Mercy After Trump Deals Final Death Blow

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is scrambling to save face after his humiliating showdown with President Trump in Washington. Instead of taking responsibility, he’s running to Europe in a desperate bid to secure more support. But even some of his closest allies are telling him the same thing: fix your relationship with Trump, or risk losing the West entirely.

After his tense, disastrous meeting with Trump and Vice President JD Vance—where he was scolded for his arrogance and unwillingness to negotiate peace—Zelensky jetted off to London, hoping for a hero’s welcome. Instead, he got a hard dose of reality. Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni, a Trump ally, was blunt in her warning: If Zelensky refuses to work with Trump, the West will split over Ukraine, and he will lose everything.

Meloni isn’t alone. Even French President Emmanuel Macron and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, both trying to keep Zelensky’s war narrative alive, put together a weak, half-baked ceasefire proposal—a one-month “truce” that won’t even stop fighting on the ground. In other words, it’s not a real solution—just another stall tactic to delay the inevitable.

Zelensky also tried to stage a PR moment with King Charles, meeting the British monarch at his Sandringham estate for a photo-op. But let’s be real: shaking hands with the King of England won’t win him a war, and it certainly won’t convince Trump to send billions more to Kyiv. Zelensky’s European allies may still be willing to play along, but their pocketbooks are running dry. They know the real power to end this war rests with Trump—and they’re urging Zelensky to wake up before it’s too late.

Meanwhile, Trump isn’t backing down. His America First stance has made it clear: no more blank checks, no more endless war, and no more bending the knee to Ukraine’s demands. The White House has confirmed that Trump is planning a second state visit to the UK, a move that signals the world is shifting toward his leadership. European leaders may not like it, but they see the writing on the wall—Trump calls the shots now.

Zelensky can whine all he wants, but the game is over. If he doesn’t get with the program and negotiate, he’ll be left twisting in the wind—and he’ll have no one to blame but himself.
