Trump Now Demanding Release Of Full Kamala Interview

After an interview with Vice President Kamala Harris on “60 Minutes” was cut dishonestly to help Harris, Trump’s campaign is demanding that CBS News share the full video of the interview without any changes.

Host Bill Whitaker was talking with Harris about how the US is helping Israel with money in its war against Islamic terrorists.

She told Harris, “But it looks like Prime Minister Netanyahu is not listening.”

Harris responded to Whitaker’s statement in a promotional video posted by CBS News on Sunday. “The work that we have done has resulted in a number of movements in that region by Israel that were very much prompted by or as a result of many things, including our advocacy for what needs to happen in the region,” Harris said.

WATCH (the important part starts at 1:36):

When the network released the full interview on Monday night, however, Harris’s comment was missing. There were no instances of those words being shown on TV, in the interview that was uploaded to YouTube, in the text of the interview, or in the “Overtime” section of the show.

Instead, Harris said, “We are not going to stop pursuing what is necessary for the country to be clear about where we stand on the need for this war to end.”

This is the second set of Harris’s comments that are in the text that the network released.

In response to the difference, Trump’s team said that the network had “deceptively” changed Harris’ answer “to lessen Kamala’s idiotic reaction.”

“Why did 60 Minutes not show Kamala’s whole word salad? What else did they not show?” Trump’s National Press Secretary, Karoline Leavitt, said in a statement Tuesday night.

“What do you think? The American people deserve to see the full script of Kamala’s talk, without any changes. CBS and 60 Minutes should put it out there. What are they trying to hide?”

There was more to the edit than just to “lessen Kamala’s stupid reaction,” as you can see by looking more closely at Harris’s words and the current state of the 2024 presidential race.
