Biden Packs Courts With Radicals In Last-Minute Frenzy

Senior female judge pounding after the judgment in the courtroom

Outgoing President Joe Biden and Senate Democrats are burning the midnight oil to ram through judicial confirmations before President-elect Donald Trump takes office. On Wednesday night, the Democrat-controlled Senate confirmed Biden’s 220th lifetime appointment to the federal judiciary, inching closer to Trump’s record of 234 judges confirmed during his first term.

The late-night scramble reeks of desperation as Democrats try to cram the courts with left-wing ideologues while they still hold the reins of power. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer’s efforts to tee up a string of confirmations have turned the Senate into a 24/7 judicial vending machine, prioritizing radical activism over judicial impartiality.

Despite Trump’s warnings to Senate Republicans to “Show Up and Hold the Line,” a few GOP absences gave Democrats just enough wiggle room to push through questionable picks. Amir Ali, president of the MacArthur Justice Center—a civil rights organization with ties to far-left causes—was confirmed as a federal trial court judge in Washington, D.C., by a razor-thin 50-49 vote. Meanwhile, Rebecca Pennell was confirmed as a district judge for the Eastern District of Washington with a 50-48 vote.

More concerning, Schumer has additional nominees lined up, including Sharad Desai for a lifetime appointment as a district judge in Arizona. Democrats are working overtime to lock in their judicial activists before the Thanksgiving recess, with at least half a dozen more votes expected after the holiday.

Trump has made it clear that Republicans need to stand firm and stop this last-minute judicial power grab. “The Democrats are trying to stack the Courts with Radical Left Judges on their way out the door,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “Republican Senators need to Show Up and Hold the Line—No more Judges confirmed before Inauguration Day!”

This is the Democrats’ playbook: exploit every second of power to entrench their radical agenda. Biden’s rush to stack the courts with ideological puppets shows a complete disregard for the balance of justice. These aren’t impartial judges—they’re foot soldiers for the woke agenda. Republicans must rally, block these appointments, and restore the judiciary’s integrity when Trump officially takes office. The GOP cannot afford to sit on the sidelines while Schumer stuffs the bench with left-wing activists eager to legislate from it.
