In an unsettling display of radical leftist aggression, approximately 12,000 far-left agitators wreaked havoc on the Alternative for Germany (AfD) party convention in Riesa, East Germany. These so-called “anti-fascists” established roadblocks, attacked vehicles, and even demanded ID from passersby—all while law enforcement stood by, seemingly paralyzed. Ironically, the militant leftists proudly boasted about their anti-democratic actions on social media, claiming to “protect democracy” by undermining it.
The orchestrated attack bore all the hallmarks of a military operation, with the infamous Black Bloc militia mobilized across Germany. Over 200 buses, funded by George Soros-backed NGO Campact, transported the radical mobs to Riesa. The Open Society Foundations, known for financing leftist initiatives worldwide, funneled $300,000 into Campact’s coffers in 2021 alone, exposing a clear connection between globalist money and these anti-democratic activities.
ANTIFA ATTACK POLICE AT AFD CONFERENCE❗️
Don’t be fooled by the pink hats: Antifa thugs tried to violently prevent AfD Delegates from hosting the Federal Party Conference today.
These beasts have no respect for our democracy!

AfD chair Alice Weidel, fresh from a surge in popularity following her discussion on Elon Musk’s X Space, became a primary target. Her armored Mercedes was swarmed by roughly 30 violent leftists, underscoring the growing hostility toward any opposition to the globalist agenda. Meanwhile, AfD members attempting to attend the legally required convention were harassed and misdirected for hours by roadblocks manned by left-wing extremists. Videos posted by the “anti-fascists” shamelessly showcased their efforts to obstruct democracy, even as their actions delayed the convention by two hours.
Notably, the leftist “Antifascist League” (VVN-BdA), designated as a radical extremist group by Bavarian authorities, ran the financial accounts for these coordinated disruptions. This shocking alignment of well-funded NGOs and militant extremists raises urgent questions about the true motives behind such groups claiming to “defend democracy.”
While the left pushes this blatant hypocrisy, the AfD has continued to gain ground, now polling as Germany’s second-most popular party with 22% support. The transparent attacks on free assembly and democratic principles only highlight the growing desperation of the left. They seem to fear the will of the people more than anything else.
America should take note. The radical left’s playbook, from demonizing opposition to funding militant groups, is a stark warning for those who cherish freedom and democracy. Conservatives must stand firm against such tactics to protect the principles that have made Western civilization a beacon of liberty. As for the Democrats? If they take notes from their German counterparts, expect more chaos and fewer coherent arguments.
